Do you know the main technical characteristics of plastic floor and PS blister sheet

The production process often determines the technical characteristics of the product. At present, the plastic floor and PS blister sheet adopt different production processes of calendering and coating. At present, the calendering method is mainly used for homogeneous core penetration and dense bottom lamination in the market, while the coating method is mostly used for foam bottom lamination.

Abrasion resistance is an important technical parameter for measuring the plastic floor in the commercial field, but there is a phenomenon of simplistic pursuit of high wear resistance level in the industry. The sub-standard of wear resistance level of EN649/651-1997 standard adopts EN660-1 thickness loss method and EN660-2 volume loss method, which are divided into four levels according to the post-test wear amount, F, M, P, T, respectively. During the implementation process, there is a large difference in the level of the same product due to different test methods, The EN649/651-2006 standard cancels the EN660-1 thickness loss method and only allows the EN660-2 volume loss method to be used. However, many products on the market are marked with wear resistance grade at will, neither stating the test method used nor providing the test report as the basis. In fact, the definition of wearability has always been a controversial issue in the European floor industry. The key problem is that the deviation of the test value is very large due to the difference of the test equipment, consumables and sampling. In contrast, users in the European market pay more attention to the application range of EN685 products. In short, users prefer to choose P-grade products suitable for commercial environments rather than T-grade products suitable for home environments. The latest consultation shows that the new ISO10581 and 10582 standards will completely change the definition method of wear resistance grade, and define Class I (>55% content), Class II (35%<≤ 55% content) and Class III (≤ 35% content) by decomposing and testing the content of PVC resin and its additives.

For a long time, some well-known brands have adopted weight restrictions to set product technology thresholds, which is extremely irresponsible to mislead customers. No matter in the EN European Union standard, GB national standard or ISO international standard, the product quality grade is not defined by weight. On the contrary, the allowable deviation value of product weight is - 13%~+10%. This error range is quite large, and the positive and negative deviation of thickness will also have an impact on the weight.

The compressive strength of plastic floor and PS blister sheet is also an important technical index of commercial floor. EN 433 stipulates that the residual depression of plastic floor should be ≤ 0.1mm. The test method applies 500 Newtons of gravity on the floor to calculate the indentation depth, and then calculates the indentation depth after removing the gravity, so as to obtain the depth of residual indentation. The products that meet the residual depression standard prove that they have super-strength compression resistance and can generally withstand static load of 87900 kg/m2, impact load of 503500 kg/m2 and rolling load of 510000 kg/m2.
